Trending Now: Leather Pants

Something I can’t get enough of lately is leather pants. In all different styles! Tapered, wide leg, leggings, you name it. Wear them as if they’re jeans to instantly level up your outfit.

For the post today I played dress up! I’m showing you 6 different outfits featuring leather pants that will take you from casual weekend with a kick to the office to cocktail hour!

In the first look I’ve got a paper bag style tapered pant. This style works perfectly with wedges and sling backs (which are everywhere this season) showing off a little ankle. You could add a sheer sock which ticks the “wear socks if you’re under 30” box without adding bulk or distracting from the overall outfit. The key is balance.

Black always works but don’t be afraid of color, especially as we get into spring! You can treat this aubergine as a neutral and pair it with browns, grays, or tonal pinks for a fun look.

A more classic look here featuring my favorite style layer - a vest! This look is cute with jeans, trousers, and leather pants!

This is an edgier vibe but cargo pants are everywhere right now! Always do a tuck, in the front or to the side. Wearing a statement shoe with a paired down but edgy look like this could be the perfect finishing touch.

This is more of a weekend look. It is comfortable and polished. And these straight leg pants are stretchy so they’re more forgiving than your jeans!

Here’s another casual look. The tone on tone coordinates the separates and creates a long line but breaks up your silhouette. I always do some sort of tuck to show your shape.

What do you think? Ready to try an leather pant look?

To help you put together a leather pant look I’ve curated a closet of my favorite styles. Details for each of the outfits are in the pictures below. But what I always tell my clients is that they need to feel comfortable with their choices so if you see something you like copy it but don’t be afraid to make it yours!

Now, does anyone want to tell me how to rescue that houseplant?!
